We've been talking about it since they qualified and it's happening this week: The provincials starts on January 25th, and Team Bernard first match is Wednesday at 6.30pm (mt).

I had the chance to see Team Bernard live back November but I kinds miss seeing them. I always wanted to do a video of the Roar of the rings final, this incredible run to win a berth in Vancouver so, i did. Enjoy!

Creativity

Today is a special day for me – a year ago, it was the beginning of an incredible adventure with Team Bernard and believe me, I had no idea how far it would go. So, I just feel to share so prettiness.

You may recognise those pictures from SierraSil’s photo shooting in Victoria back in March. Feel free to use it, if you posted it elsewhere please link it to my blog as it is one of my creation.

Bill, I made it for you, but it might not be the best considering your current desktop. I'll work on something else for you one day soon!

Inspiration

An image is worth a thousand words, but a collage like this surely says a lot more and it proves how inspiring Cheryl Bernard is. The fact that the author is from Spain only adds to my point of what an inspiration Cheryl is to many.

To emphasize the hard work, this wallpaper celebrate the 200th entry of Cheryl-bernard.blogspot.com and there is still so much left to say and share. Despite the off season, the number of viewers surprised me.

Thanks to all to pass by and stay tuned: the new season will bring lots of new contents. While sharing general information, I will keep you posted on the tournaments, the different off ice events and everything surrounding the team. This is going to be an exciting season!

If you wish to use this wallpaper, it is my pleasure if you do so. But if you want put it on another website, please, mention the source and the creator.

Creativity

Team Bernard is extraordinary team. These women inspire us for many reasons: they make us believe, the effort puts into their work, they got personality, class, play curling with such consistency and ability (to mention just these), but they are also muses for creativity.

Cheryl Bernard Page gains popularity

Today, is a special day for Cheryl Bernard Page : First of all, it is my hundredth entry already. Secondly, if you search Cheryl Bernard on google blog, Cheryl Bernard Page is number one. If you google Cheryl Bernard Page on the web, this Cheryl Bernard page is in the top five. Thirdly, lately, there was a lot of traffic in here; I think I doubled my number of viewers. And finally, the wallpaper I am sharing with you, as a tribute to http://cheryl-bernard.blogspot.com/ is the two hundredth picture I’ll be posting.

This wallpaper is quite special, not only because it is picture number 200, but also because it shows how inspiring Cheryl Bernard and her team are, from ocean to ocean: It was made especially for me by my best friend and she lives in Spain. I hope you will love this wallpaper like I do.

I have to thank Bill, a good friend, who’s been promoting my page: and he’s been promoting it so well, that I was lucky enough to get few words from the muse of this page, Cheryl Bernard herself.

Thanks to Cheryl, thanks to Susan, Carolyn and Cori, for all the accomplishments of these past years, you’ve been a source of inspiration for many.

* If you want to use this great wallpaper, be my guest! But if you want to post it or use it on a page or website, do not forget to add a link and credit the creator, thank you! *

Remembering Roar of the Rings

There are lots of things to say about the performance Team Bernard shown at this Roar of the rings to earn their place at the Olympics. I could write several paragraphs just about it. They had such a great run losing only one game, which didn’t have much importance since they had already a place strait to the final. But let’s start with those pretty pics, and some quotes from our Skip. I'll add information about it, for those who missed it, or just want to see it all over again.

"Don't be heavy," Bernard said with a laugh. "That's what I was thinking. You just have more adrenalin going and I just tried to throw it and not think what this was for. I was a little worried but then it began to curl and I knew it would grab.

"It's amazing. I don't know what to say. My team was incredible. They did everything they needed to, and they kept calm."

"We've lost a lot of heartbreakers over the years and all that was for this," she said. "And that's good. Whatever it did, all the losses were worth this win. All those years. I've got a lot of them. Am I going to be the oldest Olympian?"

Banners

I am a photo girl! I like to collect images. An image says a lot to me and it worth a thousand words. I think I got around 1000 images of Cheryl, gathering them for about 4 months and more than a half are from the Olympics (and 2000 screen caps but who counts? Lots of them are photo quality images even).

I think there is just more to do with pictures to make them feel new all over again. So, these are some banners I did and used recently! You'll recognize my style, obviously and well, i know some can do a lot better then i do, but i really like the Roar of the Rings one.

Grey Power Players' Championship

It has been a incredible year for team Bernard. That would be fantastic if the confidence gained after applying their vision to the game would finally bright them their first slam. The field is not easy, several strong teams, this is a triple knockout formula, but hopefully, they kept the momentum on their side and will perform at their best. And at their best, they are the best!!!

Good Luck, Team Bernard. I am sure lot of people will cheer for you all. I will, from my living room!
